Licensed Land Surveyor - Project Manager

Lead, organize, and manage land survey and SUE projects across the public and private sectors.
Supervise a team of surveyors and technicians; promote and enforce safe field practices.
Determine project scope, timelines, and labor budgets; coordinate with engineering, right-of-way, and utility teams.
Prepare and review survey proposals, technical reports, boundary research, and mapping data.
Represent The Company in client meetings, public forums, and proposal presentations.
Ensure all projects follow federal, state, and local regulations.
Oversee quality control of all survey deliverables, including maps, plats, as-builts, and legal descriptions.
Train and mentor junior survey staff and manage performance evaluations.

Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) Required
Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in land surveying and project management
Proven experience in managing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) projects
Expert knowledge of survey practices, boundary law, and regulatory codes
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead meetings and client presentations
Proficiency with survey technology (e.g., GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, etc.)
