About the position
The Water Distribution Operator, reporting to the Water Distribution Engineer, will provide support on the operation of the water distribution system network in Filinvest Properties.
KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintaining and monitoring of deepwell operations within the assigned Filinvest Properties ensuring its compliance with Philippine regulations
- Operating plant equipment such as deepwell pumps, chlorine dosing pumps and chlorine tester
- Perform daily operational task such as, but not limited to:
- Cleaning of water tank area
- Cleaning of dosing pumps and check residual chlorine
- Inspection of deepwell station for defects
- Mother meter reading and electricity monitoring
- Install new service connections per advisory by Water Distribution Engineer
- Reconnect water meter upon advice from Billing and Collection Dept.
- Maintains, repairs and installs plumbing and related fixtures and components water distribution system
- Conduct monthly meter reading
- Cleaning of water storage tanks at least once a year.
- To report all illegal connections to Operations Engineers
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned
