- Estimate Pay: $58,000 - $60,000 (negotiable)
- Type of Employment: 40 hours per week.
- Period of Performance: 30 September 2025 31 May 2027 (Option to Extend Services)

Working Hours
Work will be scheduled generally from 0730 a.m. to 1630 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, there may be times when employees must work outside of duty hours and/or on weekends to support specific tasks. Although the schedule may have to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week. Temporary alternate work locations will be at the Calamityville Training Center is located at 506 E Xenia Drive, Fairborn, OH 45324.
Summary:
The Course Support Administrators will support the United States School of Aerospace Medined (USAFSAM), Aerospace Medicine Education & Training (FEE) Division in providing the United States Air Force (USAF) pipeline for Aerospace Medicine Professionals, producing approximately 180 Flight Surgeons (48R/48G) and Aeromedical Practitioners per year, and approximately 300 Flight & Operational Medicine Technicians (FOMTs, 4N0X1F) per year. The team teaches 43 iterations of 10 courses per year, providing multiple skills enhancement courses in addition to AFSC-awarding courses.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Shall have at least 3 years of experience as an administrative program manager.
- Shall demonstrate advanced typing skills, possess extensive organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Shall have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Teams, Word and Outlook.
- Have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software to include advanced Excel functions, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Advanced document management tools.
- Shall be willing to learn and manage training platforms/programs adopted by USAFSAM in efforts to maximize education delivery for courses they help to support.

Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Preferred to have an associates degree but experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Administrative experience in a military setting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Shall provide administrative and technical support to the USAFSAM/Aerospace Medicine Education Branch (FEEE) Course and Program Directors and Instructors with day-to-day operations, coordination, and management of professional courses and workshops.
- Assist staff in organization and transmittal of day-to-day data and information.
- Shall be required to perform administrative activities to include answering telephones, electronic correspondence, and documentation, working with USAFSAM/Office of the Dean (ED) on administrative documentation requirements of USAFSAM/FEEE courses, preparing, reviewing, and editing written correspondence, and maintaining and updating files and records.
- Assist USAFSAM/FEEE course instructors with their lectures, teaching materials and administrative requirements.
- Shall serve as the initial point of contact for updating the USAFSAM Aerospace Medicine Education Branch portions of the Air Force Knowledge Exchange webpages.
- Shall assist the SharePoint Manager and Technical Expert. The contractor shall have the knowledge and ability to build and maintain a SharePoint site for the unit.
- Shall work with internal computer programs such as Education Training Management System (ETMS), Travel Request System (TRS), Defense Travel System (DTS), Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT), Virtual Personnel Center (vPC), and SharePoint.
- Shall prepare, coordinate, and submit travel requests through various electronic systems such as Education Training Management System (ETMS) and Travel Request System (TRS).
- This will include arranging transportation and lodging, assisting in the preparation of travel orders, and submitting travel vouchers for personnel utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS).
- Shall assist in maintaining the Continuing Medical Education CME database for students attending USAFSAM/FEEE courses.
- Shall assure confidentiality of documents, communications, and data related to the duties above.
- Shall monitor office supplies. Replenishment of office supplies in a timely manner to ensure all items are readily available to accomplish all aspects of their administrative duties to prevent delays.
- Shall provide administrative and technical support to the USAFSAM/FEEE Course and Program Directors and Instructors with day-to-day operations, management of professional courses and workshops.
- Assist staff in organization, coordination, and transmittal of day-to-day data and information.
- Shall support or provide direct administrative and technical support to all USAFSAM/FEE education programs, including Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs.
- Shall assist in moving educational training equipment, weighing up to 45 lbs for single-person lifts, and 100 lbs for two-person lifts.
- Shall occasionally provide education and administrative support in outdoor/dusty environments and be required to stand for prolonged periods and in those environments.
