Job Summary

The Operation Excellence Manager will lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement across the organization. This role focuses on implementing best practices, optimizing workflows, and fostering a culture of operational excellence to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Identify, analyze, and improve existing business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.

  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational performance.

  • Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with organizational goals and ensure seamless execution.

  • Training and Development: Train and mentor staff on operational excellence principles, tools, and techniques to build a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Project Management: Manage and execute projects aimed at improving operational processes, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technologies across the organization.

  • Risk Management: Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on operational performance, improvement initiatives, and project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or a related field.

  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.

    • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or similar).

    • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

    • Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.

  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of operational excellence frameworks, process optimization methodologies, and change management principles.

Work Environment

  • Full-time position, typically office-based with occasional travel to other company sites.

  • Collaborative and fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and proactive problem-solving.
