Frontend Engineer - Leading HK Digital Bank

About the position
Our client, a leading digital bank backed by a multinational financial institution is rapidly expanding their team, tackling exciting challenges and delivering top-notch products in small, cross-functional groups. They are currently looking for frontend engineers to onboard in August.
Responsibilities:
- Tech stack primarily features React Native with TypeScript.
- Utilize GraphQL as the query and aggregation layer for our backend and microservices.
- Produce high-quality, maintainable code through Test-Driven Development (TDD), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD).
- Collaborate closely with product designers, focusing on feature design and prototyping.
- Participate in the user experience design process, from wireframes and mock-ups to implementation and launch.
- Work alongside the design team to develop a reusable component library.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining mobile applications.
- Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript, with a background in creating modern JavaScript component-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of ReactJS or React Native.
- Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Understands what constitutes an exceptional mobile user experience and is committed to delivering that to users.
- A motivated learner with a results-oriented mindset, eager to collaborate and share knowledge with fellow engineers.
- Experience working collaboratively on software projects that involve design and backend elements.
- Thrives in a team setting within a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in iterative delivery, informed by customer feedback and data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
