Hill International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer (Electrical) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for electrical systems in projects located in the MENA & Europe regions
- Review project specifications and design documents to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards
- Develop commissioning plans and procedures, and oversee their implementation on site
- Conduct pre-functional and functional testing of electrical systems, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure proper operation and performance
- Collaborate with project teams and contractors to resolve any commissioning-related issues and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Prepare commissioning reports and documentation for client approval and project closeout
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in commissioning techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in commissioning of electrical systems, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems
- Familiarity with international codes and standards related to electrical systems commissioning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel within the MENA & Europe regions
