Senior Linux System Administrator

About the position
12 month contract
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Linux Administrator to join the IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of Linux-based systems and servers. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the infrastructure.
General Qualifications:
- Experience managing Linux systems in large and distributed organizations
- Proficient in distributions such as Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Oracle Linux
- Experience with automation tools such as shell scripting, Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform
- Experience with Active Directory Integration
- Knowledge of server security, log analysis, and performance monitoring
- Experience with databases (Oracle DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Fluent in English and the ability to communicate on technical matters in international meetings, preferred
Job Description:
- Installation, management, updating, and optimization of Linux servers
- Implementation of backups, security policies, and log management processes
- Performance monitoring and response to system issues
- Process improvement with automation tools
- Providing technical communication with international teams
