General Manager / Production Manager - Residential Pool Construction

Overview

A leading residential pool construction company is seeking an experienced General Manager / Production Manager to lead and oversee field operations across North Texas. This high-impact, hands-on leadership role is ideal for a seasoned pool construction professional who thrives in the field and has a proven track record managing large-scale teams and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and full-cycle project execution for multiple residential pool construction projects simultaneously.
• Supervise and coordinate superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and crews across multiple job sites.
• Maintain project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, proactively resolving delays or field issues.
• Serve as the on-site technical expert for construction troubleshooting, scope validation, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate closely with ownership and office staff to ensure scheduling, purchasing, and client communications are aligned.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), enforce safety protocols, and drive continuous improvement in performance and accountability.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale residential pool construction companies.
• Proven leadership skills managing field teams, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent projects.
• Deep expertise in all phases of residential pool construction, permitting processes, and inspections.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a consistent on-the-ground presence—this role requires active field leadership, not desk work.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be local to the Anna, TX area and available for daily site travel.

Preferred

• Experience scaling operations in high-growth pool or outdoor construction companies.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
