Paediatric Occupational Therapist - New Graduate

About the position

At OTHC our vision is to make a positive impact on the lives of families and children living with disability at every touch point. We’re not limited by traditional models of therapeutic delivery, although of course we do that too. We’re also educators, running programs to upskill OT’s, teachers and others working with children in the community, as well as providing telehealth and a retail arm where resources can be bought to continue our good work in the home.

As a paediatric OT you will:

  • Be a champion for our children and their families
  • Have the opportunity to manage a highly varied paediatric caseload with an encouraged focus on a family centred approach
  • Provide innovative interventions to a growing local community working with families and other health professionals
  • Have access to an extensive range of contemporary assessments & resources within in a new state of the art clinic which includes 3 purpose built sensory gyms!
  • Have autonomy to design, create and deliver bespoke group programs within a highly supportive environment
  • Be part of a boutique clinic where teamwork, support and the sharing of knowledge is at the forefront of how we work

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Eligible for registration with AHPRA
  • Eligibility for membership of the OT Association
  • A current Working with Children (WWC) Check
  • A current Police Check (National Police Certificate)
