About the position
About the Role
We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in API testing and JavaScript, to join a small but dynamic QA team working on a large-scale AdTech platform. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of backend systems, working closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams - both locally and internationally.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain automated API tests using existing frameworks
Design and support test documentation
Identify and analyze issues such as defects and bugs
Collaborate closely with developers (including a team in Israel), product, and DevOps teams
Ensure the quality of backend systems and data workflows
Be proactive in identifying gaps and taking initiative - no waiting for tasks
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in JavaScript
Solid knowledge of SQL
Experience working with MongoDB - nice to have
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (ideally Playwright, but Cypress is also acceptable)
Excellent English communication skills
Independent and proactive working style
Nice to Have
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
Understanding of microservices architecture
Experience with mobile testing (Android/iOS)
Team Setup
You’ll be part of a 3-person QA team
Regular collaboration with the development team based in Israel
