Job Description

Candidates across Japan are welcome to apply, though proximity to Tokyo is considered a plus. 

Depending on your expertise and project fit, you would:

• Lead or support event projects from briefing to execution
• Manage timelines, suppliers, and production teams with precision
• Oversee participant and delegate management, including communications and database management
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client processes
• Collaborate with internal teams in Europe, external partners, and local vendors
• Help deliver outstanding client service while keeping budget and quality on track

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in corporate event management (freelance or agency-based)
• Experience with pharma events such as congresses, symposia, or advisory boards (compliance knowledge is essential) 
• Experience with the logistical coordination and/or creative development of corporate events.
• Fluency in Japanese & English (written and spoken)
• Ability to work independently while remaining part of a collaborative team
• Experience working with cross-functional and international teams and clients
• Eligible to work as a freelancer in Japan and open to both small and big assignments

Nice to Have

• Fluency in other languages in addition to Japanese & English
• Knowledge of event technology tools (Cvent, SpotMe, Zoom Webinar, etc.)
