About the position
Location: NYC Hybrid (2–3 days/week) or Remote (EST time zone)

Our client—a globally successful, fast-growing HR software company—is expanding its talented engineering team. As a Frontend Engineer, you'll play a vital role in shaping the product’s user interface and functionality, working hand-in-hand with Product and Design to bring new features to life. You'll be part of a cutting-edge development team delivering software at scale in a continuous delivery environment.
What You'll Do
Build and deliver end-to-end product features with a sharp focus on user experience.
Collaborate closely with the Product team to design and implement innovative, intuitive features.
Take full ownership of the development lifecycle: from technical design and testing to deployment and monitoring.
Contribute to a modern microservices architecture with multiple daily deployments.
Work with a team that values clean code, strong architecture, and constant innovation.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on frontend development.
Proficiency in modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES2015+ and TypeScript).
2+ years of experience with Angular or React (expertise in one is essential).
Solid understanding of scalable web application design and architecture.
Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies—unit testing, TDD, mocking, etc.
A fast learner and independent thinker who’s always exploring new technologies.
A proactive, collaborative mindset with a desire to make a real impact on the product and users.
Nice to Have
Experience in building payroll, payments, or HR software solutions.
