About the position
Vision Source is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Management Information System professional to join our growing team in Cairo, Egypt. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of our critical information systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our management information systems, supporting informed decision-making across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain management information systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
* Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional system specifications.
* Design, develop, and implement new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
* Provide technical support and training to end-users on utilising the management information systems effectively.
* Collaborate with various departments to understand their information needs and tailor systems accordingly.
* Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
* Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and errors promptly and efficiently.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems and processes.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in management information systems and technology.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Proven experience in managing and developing management information systems.
* Strong understanding of database management systems and data analysis techniques.
* Proficiency in relevant programming languages and software tools.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
