About the position
Responsibilities
* Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs
* Manage project budgets throughout the lifecycle, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
* Oversee contract administration, including reviewing and negotiating contracts, issuing change orders, and administering payments
* Monitor project progress and identify potential cost overruns or delays
* Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project deliverables are met
* Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements in quantity surveying
* Provide expert advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on cost-related matters
* Contribute to the overall success of Freyssinet Saudi Arabia by providing accurate and timely cost estimates and project management support
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* Professional certification as a Quantity Surveyor (e.g., MRICS, RICS)
* 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying and construction management
* Strong understanding of construction contracts and contract law
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sage)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and accuracy
