About the position
Responsibilities:
* Conceptualise, develop, and present interior design concepts that align with client requirements, project specifications, and industry best practises
* Conduct site surveys, gather client briefs, and analyse space requirements to inform design solutions
* Produce detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, specifications, and colour schemes
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the seamless integration of interior design into building projects
* Oversee the procurement and placement of furniture, fabrics, and other interior elements
* Manage budgets and timelines to deliver projects efficiently and within scope
* Stay abreast of emerging design trends and technologies to enhance design solutions
* Attend industry events and participate in professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design
* Proven experience as an Interior Designer
* Strong technical proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Strong understanding of building codes, materials, and finishes
* Passion for creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing interiors
