Finance Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join the team of a prestigious hotel and lead its financial operations with precision and strategic insight. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, control, and record all sales, purchases, salaries, and expenses of the hotel.
- Oversee all hotel accounting processes and supervise the financial operations across various outlets and departments.
- Supervise the purchasing and logistics department, ensuring smooth coordination with finance.
- Lead and support the daily activities of the finance team.
- Handle invoice control, tax preparation, and timely submissions in compliance with regulations.
- Perform analytical accounting, segmented by department for better financial tracking.
- Ensure data integrity across hotel systems including PMS, POS, and purchasing platforms, confirming accurate transfer and consistency.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports in line with corporate standards and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Manage, review, and monitor the hotel’s annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Define and track KPIs to monitor performance and support decision-making.
- Review the hotel’s cash position daily to ensure optimal fund usage.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities that can financially benefit the hotel.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Support the General Manager in developing and implementing effective policies, procedures, internal controls, and safeguards.
- Collaborate with IT to streamline hotel operations, improving efficiency for both guests and staff.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in hotel finance or a similar hospitality environment.
- Solid knowledge of hotel systems (PMS, POS, purchasing).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a finance team.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
