ABOUT THE ROLE

To ensure the smooth and effective day to day running of the site-based Control Room function. To keep the HSSE Manager informed of incidents, and to ensure that agreed levels of service and operational efficiency are achieved as a minimum.

Main missions:

• Comply with undertake additional responsibilities from time to time consistent with this role, within the capabilities and in order to support the needs of the business.
• Effectively manage the day to day operations of the Control Room including supervision and coordination of contracted physical guards.
• Ensure compliance and awerness with all HSSE company policies and standards.
• Maintain a strict control process over the key management
• Monitors multiple computer, communication, access control, CCTV, Fire Alarm and other alarm systems.
• Promote an environment which supports cooperation between team members and contributing towards a high level of operational efficiency.
• Provide first line response for all incidents and responsible for the coordination of emergencies
• Responsible for all authorised entries into the site and for the site security and safety outside normal working hours.
• To always act and behave in a way compliant with all TOPPAN Security guidelines and policies, especially those relating to Security, Environment Health and Safety, Ethics and Codes of Conduct.

• Undertake walks around the plant and perimeter to maintain governance over safety and security.

• Any other ad-hoc projects that may arise from time to time.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

• Have at least ‘O’ level standard of education

Education and/or Experience

• Ability to work in a secure environment and able to make decisions independently to resolve security situations and to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
• Be able to relay routine information clearly and concisely.
• Have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• To operate within established guidelines using precedent and experience to make judgements through the quality of the work carried out by the individual and related teams.
• Proficient use of Microsoft office-based products.
• Proven decision-making in a fast-paced environment
  
  Language Skills

• Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

Computer Skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

• Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
