About the position

A vibrant Mixed School in Richmond seeks a skilled and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher for a part-time, permanent position. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to develop their computational thinking and programming skills.

  • About the Role:
    • Deliver engaging and practical Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering topics such as programming, algorithms, and computer systems.
    • Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that incorporate coding projects and problem-solving activities.
    • Assess student progress through coding assignments and projects, providing constructive feedback.
    • Contribute to extracurricular coding clubs or initiatives.
  • Ideal Candidate:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Computer Science or a related field.
    • A good understanding of computer science principles and programming concepts.
    • Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level is desirable.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • A passion for inspiring students in computer science.
