Your Mission as an Engineer In Charge (EIC)

As an Engineer In Charge (EIC), your mission is to spearhead all on-site engineering functions with leadership, precision, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. You will play a crucial role in ensuring engineering deliverables meet technical standards and align with project goals.


You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as an Engineer In Charge (EIC)

  • Serve as the technical lead and primary point of contact for all engineering activities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise execution of engineering tasks across disciplines.
  • Ensure strict compliance with design specifications, codes, and client requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and coordinate effectively with project managers and contractors.
  • Review and approve technical documents, drawings, and changes.
  • Lead risk assessments, quality checks, and troubleshooting of engineering issues.
  • Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards at all stages of the project.
  • Provide regular reports on project status, challenges, and implemented solutions.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as an Engineer In Charge (EIC)

  • Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience in field operations, ideally with an SFE/GFE background.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing crew personnel and overseeing daily field operations reporting.
  • Preferred experience in well completions and wellhead integrity; acceptable backgrounds include wireline, well testing, cementing, and coil tubing.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to interface seamlessly with internal teams and external partners.

Additional Information

Working Days & Hours: Rotation (6x3).

Location: Field location - Jalu - Libya.
