The Opportunity: German-speaking Business Developer

We are currently hiring a German-speaking Business Developer to join our expanding team in Barcelona. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management & Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for German-speaking clients, building strong relationships based on trust to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. You'll serve as a strategic consultant, understanding client objectives and recommending solutions that align with their business needs. You will maintain consistent and clear communication with both clients and our internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Business Development & Growth Strategy: Identify opportunities to expand our services within existing accounts by promoting innovative solutions. You will conduct market research to understand industry trends, allowing you to strategically position our solutions. You will also help plan and execute account strategies to maximize revenue and client success.
  • Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of digital projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. You will coordinate with internal departments—including sales, marketing, and technical teams—to deliver best-in-class solutions. You will also track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project deliverables to guarantee outstanding client satisfaction.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze campaign and project performance data to provide clients with valuable insights and recommendations for improvement. You will prepare regular reports and present results to stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Problem-Solving & Risk Mitigation: Proactively address client concerns and operational challenges to ensure swift and effective resolutions. You will mediate between client expectations and our internal capabilities, always aiming for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and optimize processes. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Language Requirements: You must communicate fluently and professionally in German with clients and internal teams, while using English for internal reporting and team collaboration.

Candidate Requirements

  • Fluent in German (C2 level required) and proficient in English (at least B2 level).
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in business development, account management, or client relations is highly valued.
  • Experience working with Google or other major tech companies is a strong asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities, comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • An analytical mindset, capable of translating data into strategic insights.
  • Familiarity with the digital marketing or e-commerce industries is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work setting.
