About the Role: German-speaking Business Developer

We are currently looking for a German-speaking Business Developer to join our growing team in Barcelona. This is a dynamic opportunity for motivated individuals who are passionate about client engagement, strategic business development, and working with a world-class partner like Google. You will be responsible for managing client accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring project goals are met with precision and innovation. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Act as the primary contact for our German-speaking clients, fostering relationships based on trust to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. You will serve as a strategic advisor, understanding client needs and aligning our solutions to their business objectives. Maintain consistent and effective communication with both clients and internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Business Development & Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities for expansion within existing client accounts by promoting additional services and innovative solutions. Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and strategically position our offerings. You will also support the development and execution of account strategies to maximize revenue and client success.
  • Project Coordination: Manage the entire lifecycle of digital projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met. This involves coordinating closely with various internal departments, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Technical teams, to deliver top-tier solutions. You will track key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, and deliverables to ensure exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze campaign and project performance data to provide clients with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. You will prepare regular reports and present results to stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
  • Problem Solving & Risk Management: Proactively address client concerns and operational challenges to ensure swift and effective resolutions. You will act as a mediator between client expectations and internal capabilities, always aiming for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and optimize processes. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Language Communication: You will communicate fluently and professionally in German with clients and internal teams, while using English for internal reporting and team collaboration.

Candidate Profile

  • Fluent German speaker (C2 level required)
  • Proficient in English (B2 level minimum)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field.
  • Previous experience in business development, account management, or client relations is highly valued.
  • Experience working with Google or other major tech companies is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • An analytical mindset, capable of turning data into strategic insights.
  • Experience or familiarity with the digital marketing or e-commerce industries is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
