VAT Associate (Remote, Lahore, PKR Salary)

Requirements:

Part-qualified or working towards a professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is required.
1-2 years of relevant experience in UAE VAT or tax-related role
Have good knowledge of Tax, Financial Accounting and Compliance matters
Experience in financial advisory and other related financial services and products.
Complying with tax laws and obligations.
Working to set standards of performance
Producing ideas (for the customer and the department)
Personal standards (commitment, attitude, appearance, contribution, Excellent Client interface at all times and all costs)
Proficient in English

Responsibilities:

Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients.
Assist in VAT registration and deregistration processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for client VAT accounts.
Assist in preparing VAT refund and penalty reconsideration applications.
Help review client documentation to ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
Respond to client queries under the guidance of senior tax staff.
Stay updated with the latest VAT rules and practices in the UAE.
Maintain confidentiality and data security standards in all processes.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary financial data.
Participate in trainings and development programs to enhance VAT knowledge.
Perform other duties as directed by the VAT Manager to support department goals.
