We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for an international school in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.
About the school
This is an international school located in Haidian. The school offers a combination of the national curriculum and US Common core to its students in elementary and middle school, and US Common core, AP, IGCSE and A-Level in high school.
Job description
As a primary school teacher, you will function as a homeroom teacher, teaching subjects such as English, science, social studies, personal/social class, and math. As well as:
- Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
- Assess and monitor students progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
- Contribute to and develop a comprehensive curriculum
- Support students learning by collaborating with other teachers and departments of the school, such as supporting English and in other subjects and programs
Job requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
- Teaching certificate
- Three or more years teaching experience in the subject
- Excellent communications skills
Salary and benefits
- Annual Salary 380,000 to 480,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Housing allowance is 8,800 RMB or free on-campus lodging
