Project Manager - Amsterdam, Netherlands

About the position

We are looking for a Project Manager (focusing on event and event management), who will be responsible for planning, implementing and closing projects within the organization. You will also work in a team, set deadlines, communicate with stakeholders and ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.

Your tasks

• Open up for new business opportunities
• Plan, lead and implement projects according to set goals and timeframes
• Coordinate resources, budget and schedules
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation
• Risk management and problem solving during the project
• Develop and manage project budgets
• Track project costs and ensure cost control
• Documentation and reporting of project status
• Ensure that customer invoices are paid on time
• Full control over time and money in all projects
• Resource projects with the best and most efficient resources available and ensure that allocated time and deadlines are met.
• You will be measured against set KPIs

Your background

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in project management, preferably in events
• Knowledge of project management methods (Agile, Scrum, PMP or PRINCE2 is an asset)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good analytical skills and structured working methods
• Good knowledge of English and Dutch in both spoken and written form
