Our client is one of Thailand's oldest and largest asset management companies, with a proven track record of delivering strong performance across mutual funds, private funds, provident funds, and institutional portfolios. The organisation has deep-rooted partnerships with banks, insurers, and financial institutions, with significant influence in the regions investment landscape.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position where you will drive the overall investment strategy and oversee the fund management and product teams.

The CIO will be a key member of the executive leadership team and act as the strategic voice for investment planning, innovation, and risk oversight across portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and execution of the overall investment strategy across mutual funds, private funds, and institutional mandates.
• Oversee fund manager teams and investment analysts to ensure strong performance and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with product and distribution teams to design investment solutions that meet client needs and regulatory frameworks.
• Serve as the key liaison with internal stakeholders, the Board, Risk Committee (including the Chairman), and regulators (SEC, BOT).
• Represent the investment vision in both local and offshore engagements, ensuring alignment with market trends and global investment practices.
• Drive innovation across portfolio management, including ESG, thematic funds, and alternative assets.

Ideal Candidate Persona

• 10-15 years of experience in investment management with a proven leadership track record.
• Holds a Fund Manager License (Thailand) mandatory.
• Thai national (or fluent Thai speaker) with strong English communication skills.
• Prior experience in Private Banking, Product Structuring, or Multi-Asset Investing is preferred.
• Background in both public and private market investments is advantageous.
• A strategic thinker with a solid grasp of macroeconomics, portfolio construction, and risk oversight.
