Overview

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Bangkok, Thailand. This is an on-site role that requires relocation, and is ideal for candidates who are ready for an international opportunity in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

You will contribute to the development of scalable systems and APIs that power platforms across fintech, blockchain, and AI domains. This role blends strong backend engineering with real-world product thinking, and close collaboration with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js
• Implement scalable data solutions with MongoDB, MySQL, and Elasticsearch
• Design and deploy cloud-native infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, etc.)
• Build event-driven architectures with RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Secure APIs using OAuth 2.0 / JWT
• Collaborate in an agile setup with frontend, QA, and product stakeholders
• Maintain strong code quality via testing, refactoring, and documentation

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience
• Expertise in Java (Spring Boot / J2EE) and Node.js
• Strong grasp of OOP, microservices, and RESTful API design
• Proven hands-on experience with:
• Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, etc.)
• Messaging: RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Security: OAuth 2.0, JWT
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in agile or distributed teams
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (Masters preferred)
• Fluent English required
• Willingness to relocate to Thailand (relocation support provided)
