About the Role

Do you have a passion for the engineering and manufacturing industry? We are looking for a Quoting Engineer to join our Quoting Team and work alongside our Quoting team

As a Quoting Engineer, your role will involve working closely with the London team to support and drive the company's objectives. Your responsibilities will revolve around making informed decisions based on available data. As part of Geomiq's European expansion, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our supplier base within the European Union and strengthening our cooperation with far eastern suppliers. Your expertise and technical understanding of the manufacturing process will be essential in developing pricing strategies and ensuring efficient and competitive quoting practices. By actively contributing to the team's efforts, you will help achieve our goals and drive Geomiq's success in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address all enquiries within our internal service level agreement timeframe 24Hrs
• Maintain client confidentiality through diligent redaction of sensitive information
• Collaborate with external partners to negotiate best market value and lead times
• Utilise data to develop innovative internal and external strategies
• Provide process optimization suggestions through data-driven decisions
• Enforce internal policies for all suppliers to ensure adherence to our terms and conditions

What are we looking for?

Experience required:

• Must demonstrate understanding of Mechanical Engineering Drawings (Minimum understanding of GD&T notations required)
• Excellent written and verbal English Language skills

Desired Experience:

• Experience working in a digital marketplace
• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of a Second Language (German, Spanish, Italian) to a professional proficiency level
