About the position
As an Assistant Video Editor, you will work closely with our team of experienced editors to assist in the creation and delivery of high-quality video content for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include organizing and managing video files, assisting with editing tasks, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage video files for multiple projects
- Assist in editing tasks such as color correction, audio mixing, and graphic design
- Collaborate with the editing team to ensure projects are completed on time and to client specifications
- Maintain project folders and files to ensure organization and efficiency
- Provide support to the editing team as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in film, video production, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in video editing or post-production
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Passion for video production and a desire to learn and grow in the industry
