Supporting a wide range of forged and machined componentsmany of which serve the aerospace and medical device industriesyoull play a central role in maintaining inspection integrity throughout production. From verifying critical tooling to inspecting finished parts with tight tolerances, your contributions will directly influence product quality and compliance.

What Youll Do:

• Conduct precision dimensional inspections using CMM systems and various software (Zeiss Calypso, PC-DMIS, CMM Manager, or PolyWorks)

• Interpret engineering drawings with complex GD&T requirements, including theoretical datums

• Assist in first-article, in-process, and final inspections on forged and machined components

• Record, analyze, and communicate inspection data to support production and quality teams

• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of metrology equipment

• Support troubleshooting of measurement issues and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives

What Youll Need:

• 2+ years of experience in dimensional inspection or metrology

• Hands-on proficiency in at least one metrology software: Zeiss Calypso, PC-DMIS, CMM Manager, or PolyWorks

• Ability to read and apply GD&T in practical measurement scenarios

• Experience using manual metrology tools (micrometers, indicators, height gauges, etc.)

• Strong analytical and documentation skills, with attention to precision and process

Whats Preferred:

• Cross-platform software familiarity or willingness to learn new CMM systems

• Experience with forged or highly regulated components (e.g., aerospace or medical device)

• Understanding of tooling inspections, theoretical features, or high-complexity inspection routines

• Team-oriented mindset with experience supporting quality or engineering teams
