As a key contributor to the quality and engineering teams, youll ensure that forged and machined components meet tight specifications through accurate inspection setups and reliable measurement strategies. What Youll Do:

Set up and execute dimensional inspections using a variety of CMM systems and software platforms

Validate critical features on both tooling and final components across forged and machined parts

Analyze data, identify discrepancies, and communicate results clearly to engineering and production

Support calibration, maintenance, and verification of metrology equipment

Collaborate with programmers and quality engineers to improve inspection plans

Assist in troubleshooting measurement issues and developing best practices for inspection workflows
What Youll Need:
-
2+ years of experience in a metrology or dimensional inspection role
-
Familiarity with CMM operations and metrology software (Zeiss Calypso, PCDMIS, or other)

Solid understanding of GD&T and ability to interpret complex blueprints
-
Experience with mechanical measurement tools (micrometers, height gauges, etc.)

Detail-oriented mindset with strong communication and documentation skills

Familiarity with theoretical datums or non-standard GD&T scenarios

Cross-functional collaboration experience with CNC or quality engineering teams
