Job Summary
We're hiring a Low Voltage Superintendent to manage field operations for structured cabling and low voltage system upgrades within a hyperscale data center environment. This position will focus on Microsoft Day 2 work in Atlanta, GA, overseeing crews, ensuring project timelines, and maintaining installation quality across network infrastructure and fiber optic systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of low-voltage projects, ensuring technical accuracy, safety, quality, and cost targets are met
  • Supervise multiple ongoing projects, providing onsite leadership and ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and customer expectations
  • Train, support, and guide technicians and leads, including involvement in hiring decisions to align field skill levels with project needs
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution of any escalated issues
  • Track daily progress through updated project documentation, including material usage and project tracking spreadsheets
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings, including bid reviews, planning sessions, and post-project evaluations
  • Deliver technical training to field staff and ensure consistent field standards
  • Enforce all safety protocols, HR policies, and project documentation requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years supervising structured cabling and low voltage crews on commercial or data center projects
  • Strong preference for candidates with hyperscale data center experience
  • Advanced knowledge of low-voltage installation practices, tools, and safety requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including blueprints, BOMs, and scopes of work
  • Proficient in managing labor, change orders, scheduling, and project timelines
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar software for project documentation and markup
