Data Analyst

About the position

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with an award-winning multi-licensed, broker who offers online CFD trading on FX, crypto, oil, metals, shares, and indices and seeking to onboard a Data Analyst to join their team in Limassol, Cyprus.

• Remuneration: base salary. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze data to generate actionable insights that support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Holistics).
• Develop and manage data models and transformation workflows using tools such as dbt.
• Build and maintain data integration pipelines using tools like Airbyte, DB Sync, or similar platforms.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data across various databases.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting and analysis efforts.
• Present data findings clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics role.
• Strong SQL proficiency, with the ability to write advanced and optimized queries.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Holistics.
• Practical experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation tasks.
• Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., Airbyte, DB Sync, Qlik) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Python is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail.
• Effective communicator, capable of presenting data insights clearly to different audiences.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Eligibility to work and reside in the company’s location.
