About the position

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with leading casino & sports betting company that is looking to recruit a Sportsbook Content Operator to join their Bucharest team.

Position: Sportsbook Content Operator

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Work model: Hybrid 3/2,  after the training period 

Employment type: Full-time. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Curate and manage localized content, including sports, leagues, and events, in alignment with regional regulations.
• Monitor global and local sports calendars to ensure timely updates and content adjustments.
• Select content based on data quality and accuracy from feed providers, ensuring consistency with mapped data sources.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and perform gap analysis to identify content improvement opportunities.
• Analyze customer engagement data to assess the popularity and relevance of content offerings.
• Maintain ongoing quality control of published content to meet operational standards.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements to enhance content performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as trading and feed management, to ensure proper content implementation and compliance with provider data.
• Communicate and coordinate content changes with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor event mapping, downtime, and suspensions to optimize user experience.
• Apply a data-driven approach to validate and refine operational content strategies.
• Enhance user engagement by promoting high-interest sports and events.
• Maintain and manage up-to-date localized event calendars.
• Work closely with customer-facing teams (e.g., CRM, Player Experience) to support content-driven campaigns and retention efforts, within set budgets and risk parameters.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native/fluent in English (C1), both oral and written
• Strong interest in sports with solid awareness of major global events and competitions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to content accuracy and quality.
• Familiarity with the online gambling and sports betting industry.
• Data-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze and act on performance metrics.
• Independent, proactive, and solution-focused work ethic.
• Ability to perform under pressure and accept constructive feedback.
• Strong analytical skills with a responsible and organized approach to tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
