About the position
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead a team of 12 accountants and ensure the smooth delivery of financial services to a diverse client portfolio. You’ll be responsible for team supervision, client communication, process improvement, and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, and financial records.
Oversee monthly and annual reporting, including management accounts, VAT returns, and audits.
Provide guidance and training on QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel to improve team efficiency.
Support and mentor junior accountants, ensuring quality and consistency of work.
Communicate with clients, auditors, and tax authorities, providing professional advice and resolving queries.
Improve internal processes to boost team performance and client satisfaction.
Participate in client onboarding and help identify tailored accounting solutions.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
ACA / ACCA qualified
5+ years of accounting experience
Excellent knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Fluent in Greek and/or English, both written and spoken
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
What We Offer
€25,000–€30,000 annual net salary
13th salary + performance bonus
Work on-site, Monday to Friday (08:00–16:00)
