A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a dynamic Computer Science Teacher to join their technology department. You'll teach engaging computer science lessons across Key Stages 3-5, equipping students with essential digital skills for the 21st century.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science Teacher lessons, covering core programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Develop students' computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the computer science curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead computer science-related extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs and robotics workshops.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Computer Science.
- Proven experience in teaching computer science at secondary level.
- Strong programming skills and knowledge of computer science concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
