Senior Front-end Engineer

About the position

Our Live88 & OneTouch Front-end team is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Front-end Engineer to join us on our journey, contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, design and develop scalable solutions, and ensure high-quality deliverables. 

Your day-to-day

• Contribute to the SDLC: Actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from planning to deployment, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables. Collaborate closely with the team while focusing on delivering individual excellence.
• Design and Develop Scalable Solutions: Architect and develop complex, scalable frontend solutions. Write clean, modular, and efficient code that aligns with system specifications, best practices, and advanced coding standards (e.g., SOLID, DRY, KISS).
• Proactively Identify and Resolve Inefficiencies: Regularly analyze your work and the system’s performance, identifying inefficiencies. Prioritize resolving issues based on business and project needs, proposing solutions where possible or escalating issues when necessary.
• Provide Technical Insights: Collaborate cross-functionally to provide valuable insights on technical challenges related to your work. While contributing to the overall process, maintain focus on your tasks and responsibilities.
• Proactive Bug Fixing & Code Maintenance: Own the resolution of bugs reported by QA or identified during reviews. Focus on ensuring the maintainability of your work while assisting peers when requested.
• Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed and updated documentation in JIRA and Confluence related to your tasks. Ensure your documentation adheres to team standards and escalate missing information to the appropriate colleagues.
• Version Control: Maintain version control using GIT (e.g., GitFlow), ensuring all code additions and updates are accurately managed. Assist with broader version control practices when needed.
• Conduct Peer Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability. Offer constructive feedback to peers while focusing on improving your own code quality.
• Collaborate with Designers: Work closely with designers on your assigned tasks, converting UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive, and performant game clients. Provide input on design feasibility for your specific work.
• Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on the latest frontend development trends and tools. Focus on your individual growth and share knowledge within the team when it benefits the project or improves efficiency.
  

Your background and mindset

• 4+ years of experience in software development
  
• 2+ years of experience with React library or any other modern frameworks as Angular or Vue.JS
  
• Good understanding of UI/UX concepts and methodologies
  
• Practical knowledge of Git
  
• Excellent verbal and written English communication;
  
• Previous experience in iGaming is a plus.
