Position Overview
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to help physicians detect and treat a variety of medical conditions. You'll be part of a forward-thinking, patient-focused team committed to delivering excellence in care and diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
Imaging & Patient Care
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals by established safety standards.
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine scans, including PET and SPECT procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and understanding throughout the imaging process.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a clinical setting.
Technology & Quality Control
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art imaging equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and perform quality control checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
Compliance & Collaboration
- Adhere to all radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate and timely diagnoses.
Qualifications
- Certification through ARRT (N) or NMTCB required.
- Washington State licensure or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience with PET and SPECT is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong technical knowledge of nuclear medicine protocols and radiation safety.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
