About the Role
An Outstanding mixed school in Brent is seeking a passionate Physical Education Teacher to join their sports department. You will deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting students' physical fitness and sports skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education Teacher lessons, covering a range of sports and activities.
- Prepare students for sports competitions and assessments.
- Develop students' physical fitness and sports skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead sports-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education.
- Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
- Strong sports skills and knowledge of sports science.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
