What You’ll Be Doing

As our new Physics Teacher, your role will include:

• Teaching Physics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to students aged 11–16.

• Creating engaging, differentiated lessons that promote deep understanding and spark curiosity.

• Leading practical experiments and investigations that connect theory with real-world applications.

• Using assessment data effectively to support pupil progress and raise attainment.

• Contributing to curriculum development within the Science Department.

• Supporting students beyond the classroom through involvement in clubs or school-wide science initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking a Physics Teacher who:

• Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physics or a closely related subject.

• Has successful experience teaching Physics to students aged 11–16.

• Is confident planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to a wide range of abilities.

• Brings a reflective, proactive approach to teaching and professional development.

• Is enthusiastic about science education and committed to fostering a love for Physics in their students.

• Works well as part of a team and contributes to the wider life and ethos of the school.
