Your Opportunity:  

This role exists to support the Group Financial Controller with the financial reporting, compliance and governance of the Lovisa Group to ensure the long-term integrity of its financial position, internal controls, and compliance with all statutory compliance requirements.

  • Assist with the preparation of Full Year and Half Year financial reporting for the ASX listed parent company, including the consolidation and note disclosures
  • Assist with the preparation and lodgement of statutory financial statements and tax returns for group entities in accordance with required timelines
  • Prepare the tax effect accounting entries for group entities, including supporting workpapers
  • Prepare the consolidated income tax provision and income tax note for the ASX listed parent company’s financial reporting
  • Support the external audit process at a group level and local level by providing documentation requested, preparing support for samples, addressing follow-up questions
  • Assist with forecasting and day to day management of group cash flow and currency requirements
  • Assist with the management of the group insurance program, including the addition of new stores to the policies and the provision of information for policy renewals
  • Assist with the management of all company secretarial requirements of group subsidiary companies in conjunction with external advisors
  • Assist with applications for and compliance with store licensing requirements
  • Assist with month end accounting for equity transactions, accruals and prepayments
  • Assist with month-end reporting and review of results
  • Preparation and/or review of general ledger account reconciliations
  • Assistance and analysis on ad hoc matters as required


We are looking for the below skillset and experience: 

  • Degree qualified in a business, finance or accounting discipline
  • Either CA or CPA qualified
  • Professional practice and industry experience preferred but strong first-time movers from professional practice considered
  • Experience using Oracle Fusion highly regarded but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and juggle competing priorities in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can-do attitude
