About the position
Are you passionate about exploring human behaviour, society, and the world we live in? A highly regarded secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a talented and forward-thinking Social Sciences Teacher to join their thriving department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching a combination of Psychology, Sociology, and/or Criminology at KS4 and KS5.
This role would suit a specialist in one of the social sciences who is confident and willing to teach across disciplines. You will be joining a team of committed educators who deliver creative, thought-provoking lessons that challenge students and encourage them to think critically about the world around them.

What We're Looking For:
- A degree in a relevant Social Science subject (Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, etc.)
- UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Ability to teach at least one subject to A-Level, with flexibility across disciplines
- An engaging and innovative teaching approach
- Strong classroom management and a commitment to inclusive education
- A desire to contribute to wider school life and enrichment activities
