As an Art Teacher at our school, you will:

  • Teach engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing students with opportunities to explore diverse artistic techniques and media

  • Foster both technical skill development and creative confidence in your students

  • Collaborate with a dedicated department team to plan and deliver a dynamic curriculum

  • Use assessment and feedback to guide student progress and celebrate their achievements

  • Encourage students to get involved in extracurricular activities, such as art clubs, exhibitions, and school-wide creative events

  • Create an environment where all learners feel motivated and supported to develop their artistic abilities

βœ… What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has proven experience teaching Art at secondary level

  • Has a degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design, with a strong portfolio and a deep understanding of visual arts practice

  • Is passionate about making Art accessible and engaging for all students, and able to challenge them to reach their full potential

  • Demonstrates strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills

  • Is eager to contribute to a supportive, creative school community and collaborate with colleagues to drive student success
