Your Role as a Physics Teacher

As a Physics Teacher at our independent school in Leicestershire, you will:

• Teach Physics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, including A-Level Physics for those with the relevant experience.

• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles of our students.

• Lead practical experiments that enable students to apply theoretical knowledge and develop hands-on skills.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the Physics curriculum is dynamic, inclusive, and up-to-date with the latest scientific advancements.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Physics Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physics or a closely related field.

• Has experience teaching Physics at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and ideally Key Stage 5 (A-Level), with a proven track record of student success.

• Is passionate about Physics and eager to inspire students to develop a deep understanding of the subject.

• Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage students of all abilities.

• Is a proactive educator, committed to ongoing professional development and enhancing their teaching practice.
