About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join our team from April 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for someone with a deep understanding of the upper Key Stage 2 curriculum and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning. You will work collaboratively within a year group team of three experienced teachers, sharing planning responsibilities and supporting each other in delivering engaging, high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum, with a strong focus on preparation for SATs
Create a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes progress and high attainment
Use a range of assessment strategies to inform planning and target support effectively
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the year group and across the school
Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and staff to support pupil development
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events
