About the Role
An Independent school in Haringey seeks an enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join their business and economics department. You'll deliver engaging business studies lessons across Key Stages 3-5, preparing students for the world of work.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies Teacher lessons, covering core business concepts such as marketing, finance, and human resources.
- Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
- Develop students' understanding of business principles and entrepreneurial skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the business studies curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead business-related extracurricular activities, such as business simulations and guest speaker events.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Business Studies.
- Proven experience in teaching business studies at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and an understanding of the business world.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
