About the Role
An Independent school in Barnet requires a skilled Physics Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. You will deliver engaging physics lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a qualified Physics Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and practical assessments.
- Develop students' scientific understanding and practical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of physics resources.
- Potentially lead physics-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics.
- Proven experience in teaching physics at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physics.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
