As an Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to support Key Stage 5 as you develop your skills.
  • Delivering high-quality lessons across a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, mixed media, and digital art.
  • Inspiring students to embrace creativity and experiment with their own artistic styles.
  • Tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their development as artists.
  • Engaging in extracurricular activities, such as school exhibitions, art clubs, and educational trips.
  • Collaborating with fellow Art Teachers to evolve and improve the art curriculum.

  • Holds QTS and a relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design.

  • Enjoys collaborating with other Art Teachers and staff to improve teaching practices.
