Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama lessons covering performance, script analysis, and theatre history.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Drama examinations and practical performances.
- Cultivate a supportive and collaborative environment where students can explore their dramatic abilities.
- Contribute to the organisation of extracurricular drama clubs and school productions.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a Drama or Performing Arts specialism.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
- Strong knowledge of dramatic literature, performance techniques, and theatre history.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and directorial skills, capable of inspiring students.
