Dynamic MFL Teacher (Spanish) Required in Richmond! Progressive School

About the position

A progressive school in Richmond is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join their supportive and well-resourced Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Spanish Teacher to inspire a love of the Spanish language and culture in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Location: Richmond Role: Spanish Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3-4.
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the Spanish language and culture.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Spanish curriculum within the MFL department.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Spanish.
  • Potentially contribute to extracurricular Spanish clubs or cultural events.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Spanish.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the Spanish language and culture.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students in Spanish.
  • A commitment to fostering effective communication skills in Spanish.
