About the Role
An Outstanding mixed school in Harrow seeks a dynamic Physics Teacher to join their science department. You'll inspire students with a passion for physics across Key Stages 3-5.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics Teacher lessons, covering core physics concepts and practical investigations.
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes.
- Develop students' understanding of scientific principles and experimental design.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the physics curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead physics-related extracurricular activities, such as science clubs and STEM projects.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physics.
- Proven experience in teaching physics at secondary level, including A-Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physics.
- Excellent communication and practical skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
